Progress Update 08/04/2018

  • What has been done?:
  1. Received all the voice over parts for Elizabeth I from Piet Zorn’s partner. Awaiting Morgan’s singing parts on Tuesday. (Fingers crossed, but they are reliable).
  2. Made some progress for the Guitar part for ‘To Marry or not to Marry?’ (Track 2)  with Geoff.
  3. Andy Nicholas (Voice of the Narrator and character William Byrd) has provided me with a new contact, a guitarist who would be able to do the Bull versus Lioness part, (which Geoff has been struggling to do) they or he will be coming on Thursday.
  4. Geoff knows of a Classical guitarist called Duncan, who would be able to help if Geoff is struggling to do the parts.
  5. ‘To marry or not to marry?’ artwork is completed, Ascension Complete and Cousin Under the Axe are currently having the artwork are being work on, with a fair amount progress made.
  6. Sarah Passmore has not been responding at all (previous response was Wednesday 28th March) although it is to be acknowledged that she is a busy woman, but this is not helpful, especially when she is not responding to my message even when she is on.
  7. Jodie Smith, has not notified me yet if the parts are done, although she is very busy too, she said she would work on the parts on both Friday and Saturday, but I think she will sort them out for me soon.
  • What has been learn’t?:
  1. Even when the main deadline, is really close, it is shocking how much people push to the pedal to the metal (so to speak) when working on projects as large as this.

  • What is the plan for the following week?:
  1. Hopefully get the singing parts of Elizabeth I from Morgan with Piet Zorn’s help on Tuesday,
  2. Finish ‘To marry or not to marry?’ guitar part with Geoff.
  3. Either complete or atleast make a significant start to ‘Bull versus Lioness’ with Andy Nickolas’ contact.
  4. Complete the artwork for Ascension Complete and Cousin under the axe
  5. Record Shelly Hopkins, on either Monday or Friday (day pending) for the Voice over work for Elizabeth I
  6. Check out the sounds I would need, and set up songs in Adobe Premiere Sessions
